Getting Started with PAYDAQ
  • Who is PAYDAQ?
  • PAYDAQ is a low cost international money transfer company based in Dublin, Ireland. PAYDAQ provides an international service to consumers and businesses at a fraction of the cost of our competitors. Click here to compare PAYDAQ fees against Western Union.
  • Is PAYDAQ regulated to carry out money transfers?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ is regulated by the Irish Financial Regulator as a money transmission business under the Central Bank Act, 1997 (as amended). Click here to view our authorisation from the Financial Regulator.
  • What does it cost?

    Upload Money: Bank Transfer FREE, Cheque or Bank Giro €1.00 or £1.00*
    Send Money from Ireland: €2.50 plus 2.5% (maximum variable fee 20.00) or from the UK £2.50* plus 2.5% *local currency equivalent.

  • Can I transfer money overseas?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ allows you to transfer money overseas to any country within our network.
  • What currencies do you support?
  • PAYDAQ supports the local currency in each of the countries we remit payments to. For example, in Poland we support Zloty and in Spain we support Euro. We currently remit payments to 15 countries.
  • Can I have more than one PAYDAQ account?
  • Sorry, but for security reasons, PAYDAQ does not allow customers to hold more than one account.
  • I have registered and want to send money, what next?
  • Once you have registered with PAYDAQ, the next step is to transfer money from your bank account to your PAYDAQ account. You can do this using online banking, cheque lodgement or a pre-printed bank giro (issued by PAYDAQ).

How to Upload Money to your PAYDAQ Account
  • How to transfer money from your bank account to PAYDAQ?
  • Using online banking you can transfer funds direct from your bank account to your PAYDAQ account. Alternatively, you can upload money via cheque lodgement or bank giro (credit transfer).
    Note: PAYDAQ will not debit your bank account, you must do this yourself (using online banking) or instruct your bank to do this. PAYDAQ’s bank account details will be displayed when you select Send Money within the system.
  • Are cash uploads allowed?
  • No. PAYDAQ does not allow cash uploads.
  • Are third party uploads allowed?
  • No. Third party payments are not allowed.
  • Can I use a Cheque to upload money to my PAYDAQ account?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ will accept cheque lodgements. Post cheques made payable to: PAYDAQ Ltd. Docklands Innovation Park, 128-130 East Wall Road, Dublin 3. Ireland. Note: Cheque lodgements take 3 working days to clear after they are lodged to your Paydaq account and cost €1.00 (Republic of Ireland) or £1.00 (UK).
    PAYDAQ recommends using online banking its FREE.
  • How long does it take to upload money to my PAYDAQ account?
  • Bank transfers take 3 working days to arrive in your PAYDAQ account. AIB to AIB and Bank of Ireland to Bank of Ireland transfers take place on the same day in the Republic of Ireland. Ulster Bank to Ulster Bank transfers in the UK take place on the same day. Therefore, is you hold an account in any of these banks, you can transfer to PAYDAQ with same day value.

How to Send Money using PAYDAQ
  • Do I have to upload funds to my account before I can send money?
  • Yes. In order for you to send money, you must first upload money to your PAYDAQ account. To upload money to your PAYDAQ account, login and click the “Send Money” link, here you will find PAYDAQ's bank account details.
  • How do I send money?
  • When you login to PAYDAQ.com, click on the “Send Money” link. Select your recipient from the drop down list. Enter the amount you wish to transfer and click the Submit Money Transfer” button.
  • How long does it take to send money?
  • It usually takes 3 working days to send money directly to the recipient’s bank account, however on occasion it may take longer.
  • Is there a limit to the amount of money I can send?
  • Yes. Every PAYDAQ account has a send limit. The limit is €1,200 (Republic of Ireland) or £1,000 (UK) for every 30 day period. After three months, this limit can be raised to €2,400 (Republic of Ireland) or £2,000 (UK) for every 30 day period.
  • Can I send money to someone who is not registered with PAYDAQ?
  • Yes. You can send money to anyone whether or not they are registered with PAYDAQ. All you need to do is set them up as a recipient and ensure they live in a country that PAYDAQ sends money to.
  • What foreign exchange (FX) rates do you apply if I send money in another currency?
  • PAYDAQ uses the European Central Bank (ECB) daily reference rates. Click here to see today's exchange rates.
  • What happens if the recipient bank information I enter is incorrect? Will I incur additional charges?
  • All money transfer requests submitted by you are final and not reversible. PAYDAQ cannot arrange for your account to be refunded where you believe the transfer or withdrawal was made in error.
  • If you submit a money transfer request with incomplete bank information and PAYDAQ processes this transaction on your behalf, you will incur additional transaction fees of €5.50 (or currency equivalent) if the transaction is returned unpaid to PAYDAQ.

How to Receive Money with PAYDAQ
  • How do I receive money?
  • With PAYDAQ there are no forms to complete to receive your money. PAYDAQ deposits your money directly into your bank account (usually takes 3 working days, however it may take longer).
  • Do I have to register with PAYDAQ to receive money?
  • No. The only person that needs to be registered with PAYDAQ is the person sending the money.

How to Withdraw Money from your PAYDAQ Account
  • If I upload money to my PAYDAQ account and decide not to transfer money overseas, can I withdraw my money from my PAYDAQ account?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ will refund you back your account balance should you decide not to transfer money overseas. Contact PAYDAQ customer services at: customer.service@paydaq.com with your instruction using the registered email address of your Paydaq account.
  • How will I receive my money back?
  • PAYDAQ refunds all Withdrawals via bank transfer directly to the bank account where the money originated from.
  • What does it cost to withdraw money?
  • Withdrawals to banks with in our network are FREE.

Security
  • Will I receive emails from PAYDAQ requesting my password?
  • No. PAYDAQ will NEVER send you emails requesting your password. If you receive such an email, delete it and do not reply to it. Please report any security concerns immediately to security@paydaq.com.
  • If I receive an email requesting personal details or my password should I answer it?
  • No. NEVER reply to emails requesting your personal details or password.
  • Should I change my password regularly?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ recommends you change your password every 90 days. Your password is case-sensitive, it should be 8-20 characters long and must contain at least one digit or punctuation symbol.
  • Is PAYDAQ using SSL encryption?
  • Yes. PAYDAQ chose Comodo SSL for secure e-commerce and confidential communications. All confidential information transmitted between your browser and PAYDAQ's is encrypted using the industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. Always check the web address is https://www.paydaq.com/ and double click the “Trust Logo” on bottom right corner of the homepage to ensure the certificate is issued to www.paydaq.com.  
  • Should I Logout of PAYDAQ when I’m finished?
  • Yes. Always Logout of PAYDAQ when finished.
  • Can I leave my computer unattended whilst logged on the PAYDAQ website?
  • No. Never leave your computer unattended whilst logged on the PAYDAQ website.
